He'd failed. Again.
It had only been minutes since he'd regained consciousness, and yet, Lalna had already accepted his fate. There was nothing else he could do.
The dark walls around him, shimmering with heat that dried his throat, only served as a reminder of the bedrock that had once encased him in a prison. Yet, that time, he had been able to stand. He hadn't been tied to a chair, with bonds so tight they made it hard to breathe. He had had a sword with him, and a jet pack, and he had been able to derive just a little bit of comfort from those familiar items. This time, there was no comfort.
It was hard to see, hard to breathe, and yet

I don't remember
I don't know my own name.
Well, that's not completely true. They say that I'm someone named NanoSounds. Yet, how is that possible? How can I have a name that I don't even remember getting? It's all confusing, really.
Like the chamber they put me in. It's made of glass, but whenever I look in it, I never find my reflection, or anything to show me what I look like. I've seen that I have raven hair, but beyond that? Other than a strange purple outfit, there's nothing.

LalnaSounds- Waiting
The Scientist closed his eyes, exhausted.
His hands hung limply at his side, raw and stained red, sore from beating at unbreakable walls. His gun lay in the corner, thrown after a fit of frustration. His googles now were crooked, and the scientist's eyes were wild, but concentrated. He looked like a fox that was beaten and half-starved, tired and fatigued, but planning none-the-less.
"Sh-She...she'll come..." He muttered to himself. That was the only thing that kept him sane. The thought of her, the thought of how she'd be there. He missed her, oh how he missed her. To think that she on her own, alone, probably freaking out...it made him an

LalnaSounds- Alone in the Dark
There is a land in the world of Tekkitopia, where everything stands still. A land where only darkness waits, the stars lost in a swirling cloud of the faded sky, where no light dare shine. The land is blanketed only by hill after hill of rolling, endless sand, forming an empty, merciless desert. It was a dead land, lit only by strange flowers of fire that quickly fade in the scorching heat of the sun. It was in this unforgiving land, that The Scientist traveled, the grey of his surroundings encasing him like an empty void.
Miles and miles of journeying had left the Scientist only as a shadow of his former self. His once white lab coat overco

LalnaSounds - Sheep Farm
"Um...Duncan...I think I may be having a slight difficulty with rounding up the sheep," Kim called from outside. Even from the basement, Duncan was aware of the nervous sort of humor that never left Kim's voice. What had she done this time?
"I'll be right out Kim, I'm just finishing up with the metallurgic infuser," He swiftly called back. Most machinery had quite intricate recipes requiring advanced materials and circuitry. Yet what Duncan worked on now, while not easy to most, was quite simple to him, for he had experimented with technology for years.
"Um, You may want to grab some proper fences while your at it, actually..." Kim called a

“Jordan!”
I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I'm breathing in the chemicals
“Jordan!”
Your voice cuts through the air like a hot knife on butter, but nothing answers you but the sound of explosions and screams from the innocent.

They had warned you not to get separated, and you told him….. dammit you told him to not run so far ahead. You fucking told him, but of course he didn’t listen and you let him slip right out of your hands.
I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse

“Wake up”
Lalna’s eyes snapped open as the hard tip of the boot slammed into his stomach, causing all of the air in his lungs to escape with a gasp.
He was temporarily blinded by the bright white light that was shining down from the ceiling and tried to lift his arm up to shield himself from it, but cursed under his breath as a sharp pain shot through him and a warm liquid trickled between his fingers.
“Oh, I wouldn’t try that if I were you. You seem to have rubbed your wrists raw while you were having your little nap and trying to break free of those hand cuffs will only bring you deeper cuts.”
